We had a lovely week with my elderly mother and farther and our dog, great location for us, out side the town centre walks and fields all around. Short drive to york and shops. The cottage 3 was clean tidy and good size for us, all on one level as mom struggles to walk far now. I am looking to rebook for my wifes birthday in November

Brilliant price, size and staff communication. We had a fantastic weekend here. The hot tub was clean and monitored by staff the following morning, free WiFi but due to a few people stay at one time it dropped in and out of use. All the necessities were there as well as an iron, ironing board and extra bin bags. Could do with a fresh lick of paint and matching cutlery and one chair in the lounge was broken but apart from that a perfect weekend. 10/15 mins from York centre which was between £12-£15 I’m a taxi dependant on type of taxi. I would definitely come back again.

I think i speak on behalf of all 16 of us in the two cottages that we all loved it. Everything was perfect and we can not thank you more. We will be booking again soon!

It was very good and also very rural Ben the site manager did make us very welcome and provided any help that was required to ensure our stay was a good experience The cleaning staff also ensured that very thing was fine and or stay of nearly 5 weeks was very very pleasant. The reservation staff also made every thing easy Overall a good experience and same as our 3 previous stays with Villa Barn

Great location for those wanting to visit York or even for those just wanting a break from it all. Staff were fantastic and booking was super easy. The cottage was immaculate when we arrived and we couldn’t have asked for more from the accommodation.

We stayed here for a Hen weekend which I organised. The Farmhouse was big, very clean and perfect for what we needed it for. We were very lucky with the weather which meant we could sit outside in the sunshine and make the most of the lovely garden and enjoy the hot tub. The venue is only a short distance away from York which was great. Everybody within the party commented on how great the venue was. Would recommend.

Well placed just off the A64 and not that far from York centre. Very modern and up to date. Will be back again

Had a fabulous time at the farmhouse Only down fall could do with a few extra bathrooms especially toilets but only with maximum capacity Other than that it was a great weekend will definitely us you again and recommend you to my family and friends
