The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is our largest property, sleeping up to 16 guests. Bedroom lay-outs are as follows:
On the ground floor there are two bedrooms:
– 1 double bedroom
– 1 twin bedroom containing two single beds
Plus:
– 2 x Single sofa beds in the snug lounge next to the main lounge
On the first floor there are four bedrooms:
– 1 family room containing one double bed and a single bed
– 1 family room containing one double bed and a single bed
– 1 twin room containing two single beds
– 1 twin room containing two single beds
There are two shower rooms each containing a shower cubicle, W/C and basin- one on the first floor and one on the ground floor. The ground floor is home to a kitchen-dining area with a separate lounge. Patio doors in the main lounge lead to a sheltered hot tub exclusively for the use of guests of the Farmhouse and provide access to the shared garden. Patio doors from the snug-lounge provide access to a smaller lawn space.

Upon receiving your booking confirmation via email, a deposit of 25% of the total accommodation cost is due within the next 7 consecutive days. The remaining balance for your accommodation, and also the cost for any added extras, will be due 4 weeks prior to your arrival date. You can call the office to make payment by debit or credit card. Alternatively you can make an internet transfer. Full details will be listed on your booking confirmation email.
We will require a pre-authorisation of your credit card approximately 4 days prior to your arrival, for up to £200.00 per cottage booked, to cover any incidentals or extra charges which may occur during your stay. For bookings with more than one cottage, a different card per cottage may be used unless you are happy to use the same card for each. Please be aware that this is not an extra charge and will not affect the cost of your booking, however this will show as unavailable funds for the holding period. This will be released 10 working days from the date we pre-authorise your card, unless we are required to process a payment following your departure. Please refer to our terms and conditions for further details.
Should you wish to cancel your booking, we must be notified in writing by the lead guest whose name the booking is under. On receipt of your written cancellation the following charges will apply; more than 28 days prior to your arrival date 25% of the total cost, 28-14 days prior to your arrival date 50% of the total cost, less than 14 days prior to your arrival date 100% of the total cost. For all cancellations at any time after booking the deposit is non-refundable.
We provide all bed linen and one bath towel per person. Please note we do not provide additional towels for use of the hot tub. Please bring your own towels.
High chairs and cots can be provided free of charge upon request.
Further amenities include; washing machine, dishwasher, electric hob, range style cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, fridge freezer, colour TV, DAB radio with integrated bluetooth speaker, iron and ironing board. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catered stay including all pots, pans, cutlery, crockery, glasses, mugs, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, kitchen roll, and hand soap. Tea, coffee and sugar sachets, and milk pots are also provided for a welcome drink only.
